　 The mold welder is used to repair the damaged part by either welding strip material to the damaged area or by building up the damaged　area using either a metal powder or metal paste. The machine uses resistance welding technology creating a series of high energy discharges through a capacitance circuit, this method of welding creates a minimum amount of heat and therefore there is no distortion or deformation of the mold being repaired.
